We have been established since 1979 as a UK limited company. Currently have more than 35 members of staff with over 25 time served skilled tradesmen. 2006 saw us moved into our own purpose built factory located in the centre of England. At present we are suppliers to a variety of blue chip companies within a wide range of industries. We have the ability to fabricate to both national and international codes including

  • ASME VIII
  • API560
  • PED Requirements

To coincide with our fabrication and manufacturing we offer project management and design work.

The course aims are to safely assemble, dismantle, relocate and alter a tower scaffold without risk of personal injury or injury to others. It incorporates all relevant legislation and safe working practices.

through The Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH)
Working safely meets the government's guidelines for introductory health and safety training and is a 100 per cent match to the Health and Safety Executive's 'passport' syllabus.

SSSTS

Training covered the Health and Safety Acts and the Regulations and Approved Codes of Practice and guidance notes. Also covered is RAMS and the legal system regarding health and safety and the types of accidents which commonly occur in the construction industry. 

As well as training qualifications we are also qualified for welding. Our qualifications cover every type of weld in an array of materials including Stainless Steel, Duplex, Superduplex, Hastalloy and Mild Steel

In a business like ours, we live with the effects of our work on health and safety every day, which is why we believe in operating in a safe and responsible way to all current legislation.

The Directors of Able Stainless Steel Fabrications Limited attach great importance to the integration of environmental controls into it’s business operations.

Control of environmental risk is of paramount importance to our business. It is our aim to achieve and sustain acceptable standards of management by the employment of best practice and innovative techniques, which may improve upon any current methodology.

We also recognise and accept our responsibility on affecting the environment of others by our activities. The allocation of duties for such matters and the particular arrangements which will implement the Policy are set out in additional Company documentation and processes.

It is the duty of all personnel to conform to this Policy and associated codes and regulations applicable to the Companys activities. All personnel must accept and carry out the legal responsibilities placed upon them by the relevant legislation, in respect of safeguarding the environment. Management and Supervisors at all levels who authorise work will ensure that adequate controls & facilities are available to sustain legal compliance. Whilst legal requirements must be complied with at all times, environmental undertakings can be best promoted by continual vigilance and constant reappraisal of our working methods and risk assessments by all our personnel, inclusive of sharing information with other interested parties .

The Management are responsible, as far as is reasonably practicable, for all aspects of environmental controls of the Company. However, they cannot exercise this responsibility without the active co-operation of all our employees. The promotion of our environmental performance whilst at work is to be regarded as a mutual objective for all employees at all levels.
